Unit 10 Reflection

Hi Guys, this will probably be the last post here, so I just want to thank all the readers for the support.

This unit was about learning the human body, and a way we learned this we dissected a pig. If you want to see the blog post click this Link, and if you want to see the video, watch it at this Link. This made us learn the parts that we can find in our own bodies. I think a lesson here is also showing us how similar we are to other animals, because we are both mammals.

I think of all the units, this is the easiest to apply in every day life. We leaned about all sorts of things but I don't want to ramble trough them. I think it is cool to know that we use many kinds organs in our bodies that make up a team. I think this is symbolic because in a way humans are literally made to work together and this seems like a justification that proves it.

I also thought it was cool that if we get a sickness once, if we get the same strain, it wont effects us because or body now makes the anti bodies that kill that particular disease. Another things that was cool is learning how are cuts heal and how we get scabs. I find it cool that our bodies can do this and it is nice to see that we heal from a build up of tiny particles.

lastly I want to ask some questions that maybe you could answer in the comments below:

  • How do lizards grow their tails back without affecting their nerves?
  • How come we can't grow back arms?
