Sweetness Lab

Sweetness Lab

In this Lab we tasted sugar to see which type of Saccharide was the sweetest.

Types of Saccharides:
Hint: -ose means sugar
Monosaccharides
Disaccharides
Polysaccharides
Fructose
Sucrose
Starch
Glucose
Maltose

Cellulose
Galactose
Lactose

Hypothesis: If the Cellulose a polysaccharide is not sweet, then Monosaccharides must be sweet.
